Do Animals Have Souls According To The Bible

Is it true that humans have souls and animals do not.

Do animals have souls according to the bible. Job 1210 - In whose hand is the soul of every living thing and the breath of all mankind. The Scriptures tell us that like humans animals receive the breath of God or spirit to come alive and then they become souls. It is sown in weakness.

We are all souls. Animals it would seem are different from man. Animals are as humans.

As one dies so dies the other. Animals are considered souls according to the Bible and every living soul died in the sea Revelation 163. According to the bible all things have the breath of life.

And man became a living soul Gen. Numbers 3128 When the first man Adam was created he was not given a soul but became a living soul. Christ died to save the souls of human beings not animals.

Since animals and plants are living things they have souls but not in the sense in which human beings have souls. Animals do not have the spirit of God. Animals can think reason sense danger experience happiness sadness and all of the things we mentioned in our definition of the soul.

It is clear that God does care for the animals. Animals have both spirits and souls like man. The fact that animals have no souls doesnt mean they cant be in Heaven the Bible says that we humans have both bodies and souls and animals have justbodies.
