A stray cat is the linking element of three tales of suspense and horror. The special effects are effective and understated allowing the foreground to be occupied by some of our basic human fears of pain for loved ones of falling from a great height of suffocation. As we approach the novels 30th anniversary its hard to think of many characters who have endured pain like Atwoods.
Blue Underground can always be relied upon to give us a quality transfer. All three of the stories in Cats Eye depend on special effects. The third story really throws the movie out of whack.
